JULY 4TH

Register for the 4th of July Pali High Community Band here or on the form below.

All musicians must complete the registration form by June 30 at 11:59PM to participate.

• Adult Musicians and Pali High Alumni who play a band instrument are encouraged to join us. No audition is necessary.

• Pali High Band Students do not need to audition.

• Middle School and Other High School Students must submit an audition or provide a teacher recommendation to join.

  • Auditions comprise major scales (4-flats to 4-sharps), a prepared piece, and sight-reading. Live auditions will take place on July 1st before rehearsal. Contact Mr. Ye (pye@palihigh.org) for audition materials.

  • Teacher Recommendation. Have your private teacher or band director send an email to Mr. Ye (pye@palihigh.org) recommending your participation in the community band. This is the recommended option.

  • Students must submit either an audition OR a teacher recommendation to join, not both.

Rehearsal Dates

• Tuesday, July 1st from 12–2PM

• Thursday, July 3rd from 12–2PM

Performance Date

• Friday, July 4th, evening around 6PM (exact time TBD).

• Palisades 4th of July Event Website: www.palisades4th.com/parade

All rehearsals and performance will take place at Paul Revere Middle School.

• Performance will be outdoors.
