Joining the Pali High Marching Band is one of the best ways to enrich your high school experience!
Why Students Love It
Instant Family: You’ll join the "Pali Band Family" and make new friends before school even starts.
A Place to Belong: The band room becomes your "home base" on campus—a place to hang out and feel welcome.
Be a Star: You’ll represent Pali High as a part of its most public music ensemble, performing in front of big crowds at games and competitions.
What to Expect
The Team: The band competes against other schools, plays at home football games, and performs at school rallies and events.
Professional Coaching: You’ll get individualized training from a team of professional coaches on each speciality.
The Schedule: Practice happens during 7th period and after school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Season: Everything wraps up in November, just in time for Thanksgiving break.
The skills and friendships you build during Marching Band season set you up for success in Concert Band, Winter Drumline, and Winter Guard later in the year!
What You’ll Learn
Music for Everyone: All skill levels are welcome! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, you'll improve your skills and learn how to perform exciting, high-level music as a group.
Skills for Life: You’ll learn leadership, how to manage your time, and how to be someone others can count on.
Teamwork: You’ll learn how to work closely with others to create an amazing show.
Fitness: It’s a great workout! You’ll learn how to coordinate music with athletic movement.
