The Winter Drumline competes in the SCPA circuit with some of the best drumlines in the country. Drumline is separate from the marching band percussion and drumline section, but most students enroll in both our marching band and our indoor drumline concurrently.
Winter Drumline is a performance ensemble combining visual movement with rhythmic and melodic music. The ensemble consists of two primary sections:
Battery: The marching ensemble (Snares, Tenors, Bass Drums, Cymbals, Single Toms).
Front Ensemble: The stationary ensemble (Marimba, Vibraphone, Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Drum Set, Timpani, Synths/Electronics).
